Rare Forgotten Classic Game

Uh-Oh! It's TETRIS!

Uh-Oh! It's TETRIS!

(1996 / SEGA)

Advertised as trendy, smart and not for your parents. Despite being backed by one of the most expensive advertising campaigns of the mid-90s, this Tetris sequel produced by Elorg never quite got the love it deserved. One dealbreaker being the required use of the Uh-Oh! It's TETRIS! Talking Controller. When you cleared a line the controller said "ALRIGHT!" but when you got a game over it would say "YOAWW! Too BAD!"

Rare Forgotten Classic Game

The Legend of Nelda

The Legend of Nelda

(SEGA/1996)

The long-awaited genesis counterpart to Zelda featured the ability to walk only left. The game was never completed sadly The "game" itself consists of several static MSpaint images of official zelda art with the nintendo logos X'd out. They said it was a new type of game where you played as your mouse cursor and "moved" it through zelda's 'world'. It came with a little notepad and cards and a die to roll. The notepad was for tallying up "movement errors' for when you "skipped a level" on accident. So youhd draw a Punishment Card that sent you on real life scavenger hunts to appease zelda to allow you to continue playing.
